Edna House.

Moonee Ponds, VIC

Edna House is a Moonee Ponds home with three spaces working hard within tight footprints. An ensuite, a walk-in robe, and the kitchen. The brief was clear, rooms that perform every day, without compromising on how the home looks and feels. The clients came to us early, before construction had begun. Engaging an interior designer at this stage gave us the time to solve problems on paper rather than on site, and design every detail with intent.

The ensuite and walk-in robe were the tightest spaces. Storage was the priority. We focused on smart spatial planning and detailed joinery to make every centimetre count - concealed storage, refined proportions, and a warm material palette to soften rooms that so often feel cold and clinical. In the kitchen, the client wanted openness without losing practicality. We reworked the layout to connect it to the surrounding living areas, while keeping the working zones clear and storage generous.

Services included spatial planning, joinery design, kitchen and bathroom design, materials specification and concept design documentation - giving the clients a complete design framework ready for construction.

The result is a home that proves good design isn't about how much room you have, but how thoughtfully you use it.
